The Trailhead Project
IndyFringe Capital Campaign - PHASE II Picture if you will, a bigger and better IndyFringe. With your support, we were able to purchase the IndyFringe Basile Theatre; that was Phase I. The next step is just beginning:
The Alley - Complete!
We have completed the renovation of the Spring Street Alley and with it the natural connection between IndyFringe and the Cultural Trail. The improvements are not only aesthetic: this will improve drainage and water reclamation for our green space.
The Trailhead Community Center
Have you been on the Cultural Trail? It is certainly not lacking in gorgeous urban views and convenience. However, it is missing something. IndyFringe will be offering, through this campaign, the FIRST public restrooms for the Cultural Trail. The Trailhead will be our ticket office, provide ADA accesibility, and PUBLIC RESTROOMS!
Additionally, we will create a multi-purpose space suitable for indoor/outdoor events and performances, meetings, and so much more! This will give us the ability to bring you more entertainment throughout the year and during the festival!
Your Support
We are in the home stretch, but we need your help! Join us in finishing what we have started by donating today. Your contributions will help us break ground on this wonderful project.
You can also get a brick engraved along our new alley as part of our "Follow the Trailhead Road" campaign.
A Note from Blackline Architects - Scott Perkins:
"The notion that the Indy Fringe building could serve as a trailhead for the nearby Cultural Trail is an inspired idea. The trail gets a much needed support facility and Fringe gets interested, engaged, culturally-aware visitors at its doorstep.
Building on the success of the initial project phases of renovations and restoration, the proposed addition is the next step towards full utilization of the site with a multi-purpose community center space that would serve Indy Fringe and its frequently crowded calendar. The new space will accommodate:
The “Trailhead” ticket office, ADA accessibility elevator, restrooms, green room and backstage access to both theatres
A versatile meeting and performance community space within. An operable wall opens the community center to Fringe’s green space providing an enticing asset along Indy’s Cultural Trail."
